ABOUT HANCOX |
| In 1938 John Hancox left Coventry Climax to set up his own garden machinery business. However the arrival of World War II would mean an early shut down and in 1945 after the War was over John resurrected Hancox becoming a Distributor for Clifford Cultivators and Villiers Engines. Suffering from ill health and with business booming John decided he would sell the business to Bob Watson. |
 |
Taking control of the company in 1963 Bob Watson continued his good work and in 1969 saw Hancox appointed as Distributors for Kohler Engines during which time they achieved the Kohler Award for Excellence on three separate occasions.

In 1978 Hancox moved to Portway near Redditch to concentrate on Kohler Distribution. In December 2000, Bob Watson sold Hancox to James Bowett.
 |
Hancox has continued to evolve with new product lines into a new and exciting company still offering the garden and construction industry the best personal support.

With over 30 years Kohler experience the staff at Hancox will continue to offer the best small engine service.
