Overhead Cam Design
The Kohler engines OHC design offers lower operating temperatures, less oil consumption, longer oil-change intervals and extremely quiet operation. That's because Kohler engines brought the camshaft out of the crankcase and away from the oil sump and crankshaft. Much of the housing above the crankshaft has been eliminated for a greater cooling area and reduced engine temperatures. |
